Cremation is consistent with the Christian view that the physical body returns to the dust from which it came and that a new body is given by God in the Resurrection. Our Prayer
and Memorial Garden, set between the Sanctuary and the Christ Chapel, is the site of Shepherd of the Valley's columbarium which provides nearly 300 niches, each of which will accomodate two separate urns.
Subscription for and selecting a niche in this beautiful setting can be arranged at the Church office through the Shepherd's Foundation which administers the operation of the Prayer and Memorial Garden.
